I love telling people I’m from the Andaman and Nicobar Islands—because, let’s be honest, it sounds cool. But my roots are in Kerala, which has always left me in a bit of an identity crisis. Too "mainland" for the Andamans, not "Mallu" enough for Kerala.
As a kid in 6th standard, I was convinced I’d be a lawyer. I fought (quite literally) with my parents to let me pursue law instead of being funneled into engineering. And I did it—I went to law school. But by my third year, I realized it wasn’t for me.
What I really wanted was to write. Stories that move people, make them feel something. I used to do that on an Instagram page that I later deleted (still kicking myself for that). I always knew I could write, but I never imagined I’d end up as a content writer. I wanted to be an author. Then life happened.
Straight out of law school, I got an amazing opportunity to join Headout as a content writer, and that’s where everything clicked. The more I learned, the more I understood how every word—every single one—is intentional. Words shape perspectives, shift narratives, and sometimes, change the world. And I love that.
Now, through my website, I’m exploring more—learning Google Analytics, expanding into social media scripts, writing blog posts, and figuring out new ways to tell stories. It’s a work in progress, but so am I. And that’s the fun part.
Oh, and soon, I’m starting a small business selling crochet items—because apparently, I can’t sit still without creating something. Let’s see where this new adventure takes me!
